Natasha Romanoff had learned to be a very patient woman over her long years of life. She had watched the rise and fall of her empire and then all the others that came after it. She had loved, lost and then continued on because there was very little else to do but she hadn't trusted anyone enough to see them at her most vulnerable. At least not until now.
Slipping past the front lock of the apartment she had found under a name that had taken some searching for, she hoped briefly that Thane would forgive her for possibly getting blood on his floor or his furniture as she dealt with the traps he had set in place to protect his home or to delay anyone looking for him if they had managed to track him down to his home. She had to figure it was a new apartment for him though considering it wasn't nearly as fortified as the other places of his she had found.
After finding some medi-gel and patching herself up as best as she could, she found it easier to breathe as she pressed a hand to her injured side where she had been shot. The shoulder wound, which looked like a knife wound or something similar was healing already though the burns that covered her back would bother her for a couple of days. Either way, she was grateful for the fact that she healed faster than most humans and that the medi-gel she had found would speed up that process. Just another thing she would have to reimburse.
Settling on the couch then, she waited, holding her gun with her good hand just in case it was C-Sec or even the asari who had put her through two days of hellish fighting before she could escape. Thankfully though it was a form she recognized when the door slid open three hours later and the stab of relief she felt was so strong that her vision actually blurred for a couple seconds before she blinked it away. Then she smirked faintly as the lights came on, revealing her location as she looked at Thane.
"Hello, handsome." She murmured, trying to hide the weariness in her tone.
